Welcome to the Library of Dempo Charities Trust's Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College of Commerce & Economics.

The college library is the centre of academic and non-academic resources for students and staff of the college. Its collection is a blend of more than 41000 books on varied subjects. It has a separate collection of books for self-financing courses that is M. Com, I.M.Com, BBA, Event Management and Masters in Travel & Tourism Management. It has separate collection of books on carrier guidance, competitive exams, and general knowledge and also books on Goa. Library maintains several other resources namely, CD’s, journals, magazines, newspapers, e-books, e-journals & e-databases.

Library subscribes to N-List services of INFLIBNET (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) which is accessible 24×7 to all teachers and students with individual log-in and password. Library also subscribes to J-Gate (Arts & Humanities, Social & Management Sciences) data base from Informatics India Limited. It is an electronic gateway to global e-journal literature. J-Gate provides access to millions of journal articles indexed from 59,244 e-journals with links to full text at publisher sites. Our college library has Open access system. The Library was using MIS Library Management Software to automate all its housekeeping activities; from January 2021 a switch to New GenLib software system has been made. The Library New GenLib OPAC includes advanced search options for books. This service (New GenLib OPAC) is accessible over the internet & over intranet with in the campus. Further, the OPAC system of the college library is also available on mobile phone through the NGL App. The Library looks forward to serving all those who have thirst for knowledge!
